Business Development Executive
About this position
The Business Development Executive will focus on customer acquisition, lead generation, and prospect management, as this role will garner and meet potential clients, and nurture existing customer relationships.
Responsibilities
• Build long-standing relationships with new and existing clients and ensure that new commercial opportunities (leads) are being brought into the company on a regular basis.
• Researching potential new leads and keeping on top of developments in the industry
• Able to prepare customized proposals for clients.
• Able to provide high-quality “end-to-end” service.
• Good overall product knowledge of the company’s key brands.
• Able to deliver high-quality presentations with the support of the company’s Design Service team.
• Able to acquire new clients regularly and turn new clients into customers with “sales closed” status.
• Able to initiate and implement activities to maintain long-standing relationships with existing clients.
• Facilitate and coordinate potential deals with in-house teams such as the Sales and Design Service teams to ensure the successful closure of deals.
• Acts as “owner’s representative” on the client’s behalf to provide regular updates to ensure successful project completion.
• Keeping on top of administrative tasks – such as updating the company’s client database
• The BD should have a good understanding of the company’s process and be able to coordinate clients’ projects with all internal stakeholders effectively.
• Able to meet given team targets.
• Able to have good record keeping of all client projects and follow company SOPs.
Requirements

• Able to function efficiently under pressure.
• Attention to detail, proper documentation, and follow-up for all customer projects.

• Interpersonal Effectiveness and Ability to Influence, using data, product knowledge, and logic to convince others, articulation with conviction, understanding the impact of a good relationship with clients, and being able to leave a positive impact.
• Analytical thinking (Evaluating pros and cons, Identifying key issues in complex projects)
• Resourcefulness, able to come up with alternative options which are accepted by clients.
• Well-groomed and carry him/herself with professionalism as our brand ambassador.
• Has a car and a driver’s license.
• Fluent in English
• Strong communication and presentation skills
