The Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving sales growth by providing technical expertise and support to clients, ensuring they understand the benefits and applications of our machinery. This role requires collaboration with the engineering and product development teams to tailor solutions that meet customer needs, while also reporting directly to the Sales Manager. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in metal production technologies and a proven track record in sales within the industrial sector.
• Manage sales responsibilities for the assigned business area.
• Drive business development for both existing and new customers.
• Conduct regular customer visits to build and maintain relationships.
• Communicate market information to the sales team and management.
• Identify projects and opportunities to meet business needs.
• Ensure smooth information flow between customers and internal departments.
• Collect data to prepare quotations and negotiate contracts.
• Adhere to company guidelines for pricing and payment terms.
• Oversee order intake and ensure pricing quality.
• Utilize CRM tools effectively to manage customer relationships.
• Coordinate with headquarters for regional business solutions.
• Provide insights on market trends and competitor activities.
• Manage the sales budget and forecast sales performance.
• Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering & Industrial Engineering
• Technical background in die casting process
• 3 years of experience in die casting process industry or similar will be specially considered
• 3 years of experience in Sales Engineer role or related
• Technical background in Leybold Optics will be an advantage
• Strong technical background with solution selling
• Independent, organized, and target-oriented
• Good written and verbal communication in English
• Eager to learn and constantly seek to improve professionally through technical and other trainings
• Ability to work independently and as a team player across departments
