About this position

The position of Chinese Translator at Siam Paragon involves providing verbal translation and interpretation services for Chinese customers, ensuring accurate communication that aligns with the brand's image and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Being in charge of verbal translation/interpretation at the boutique in Thai/Chinese Mandarin or vice versa, for Chinese customers, while ensuring the accuracy, context, commercial objective as well as brand image in the translated communication and interaction.
• Assist the Fashion Advisor and the related parties in the relevant areas requiring Chinese interpretation.
• Support in other related assignments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Language competency in both Thai and Chinese with HSK Level 3 or above, preferably some experience as Chinese translator.
• English fluency will be a plus.
• Service mind, team playing attitude with solid understanding of the Chinese cultural contexts.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Interests in fashion and retail industry will be advantageous.
• Able to work full-time in shifts (including weekends) and to start in a contracted position first with possibility for contract renewal.
