About this position
Responsibilities
âĒ Developing and Implementing purchasing strategies to optimize cost and enhance supply chain efficiency
âĒ Identifying, evaluating, and selecting suitable suppliers based on criteria like quality, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to ethical/sustainability standards
âĒ Negotiating favorable contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, payment conditions, and mutually beneficial agreements
âĒ Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and align procurement activities with organizational goals
âĒ Managing supplier relationships, including ongoing performance evaluation, issue resolution and fostering long-term partnerships.
âĒ Monitoring inventory levels, analyzing demand patterns and implementing inventory management strategies to manage stock levels and avoid shortage
Requirements
âĒ Bachelor's degree in any field
âĒ 10 years of experience as purchasing and supply chain management in any manufacturing industry (Packaging Industry) or purchasing about flexible packaging
âĒ In-depth knowledge of procurement principles, strategies and best practices
âĒ Strong skills in budgeting, cost optimization and negotiation techniques
âĒ An analytical mind with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
âĒ Good command of English (Reading, Writing and Speaking)
