About this position

The Legal Assistant Manager (FMCG) is responsible for providing legal advice, managing legal documents, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations relevant to the company's operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and manage the company’s legal documents and agreements
• Provide legal advice to various departments.
• Monitor new laws and regulations relevant to analyze issues affecting the company’s operations.
• Review and draft commercial legal documents and contracts, such as joint venture agreements, shareholder agreements, and OEM contracts.
• Provide opinions on food and packaging regulations.
• Apply the law accurately and ensure compliance with legal requirements in a timely manner.
• Support the team with trademark-related work
• Possess basic knowledge of trademark law.
• Assist the team in managing and overseeing trademark registrations for the company.
• Collaborate with the team to conduct trademark registrations in Thailand.
• Coordinate with the team and external agents in case of trademark disputes.
• Provide legal advice and handle legal proceedings to resolve customer complaints
• Manage customer complaints, file criminal complaints, and pursue civil cases on behalf of the company.
• Coordinate and facilitate communication, negotiation, and reconciliation related to customer complaints.
• Review the work of litigation lawyers hired by the company to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Knowledge of advertising law
• Understand laws and requirements related to advertising and promotions to ensure the company’s marketing activities comply with the law.
• Review and provide guidance on advertising and marketing content to prevent legal breaches.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure alignment with legal requirements in advertising activities.
• Update internal policies and processes related to advertising in line with legal changes.
• Provide legal advice and support to the Human Resources department
• Provide guidance on company policies and regulations to ensure compliance with labor laws.
• Support the management of employee complaints and disputes, including mediation and negotiation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law.
• Must hold a license to practice law
• At least 5 years of experience in the legal field.
• Knowledge of business law, civil and commercial law, with skills in drafting and reviewing commercial contracts; strong legal problem-solving abilities.
• Basic knowledge of trademark law and the ability to support the team in this area.
• Proficiency in English.
