Foodservice sales representative (HORECA/FMCG)
About this position
The Foodservice Sales Representative (HORECA/FMCG) is responsible for developing sales in the food service channel, managing client relationships, executing sales strategies, providing customer support, and collaborating with marketing teams.
Responsibilities
• Contact and build relationships with target customers such as hotels, restaurants, catering businesses, cafés, and the food industry.
• Manage and maintain relationships with existing clients to sustain sales and expand the customer base in the Food Service sector according to company targets.
• Develop sales strategies and manage assigned sales territories.
• Prepare sales reports, analyze sales data, and propose methods for achieving sales goals and exploring new sales opportunities to the team leader.
• Provide customer support such as product usage training, menu creation consultation, and addressing issues related to orders or product usage.
• Coordinate with the marketing team to organize promotional activities and support the development of new products to meet market demands.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in Foodservice sales or beverage-related businesses.
• Knowledge of beverage industry.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage time and sales territories effectively.
• Willingness to travel to meet clients (own car and driver's license required).
• English language skills (if applicable) will be considered an advantage.
