WMS Analyst (WMS Super User)
About this position
The WMS Analyst (WMS Super User) is responsible for maintaining a deep understanding of Matrix® WMS capabilities, engaging with key users, supporting projects, conducting audits, and executing improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
• Maintain a good to expert understanding of the Matrix® WMS capabilities (especially WMS Core+) in able to support with advice and guidance on the WMS products.
• Engage heavily with WMS Expert and key-users communities and team leaders in the sites in order to understand their environment and work with them on using the WMS products correctly and obtaining feedback for potential WMS product enhancements.
• Support projects and is capable to consult on set-up of Matrix® WMS (Clustering, put away rules, pack configuration, routing, zoning, data loads).
• Support Projects by controlling test & train activity as per project plan. Provide advice and conduct test & train review to ensure efficiency of test script and training method.
• Support Post live activity by conducting transaction audit. Provide audit report, feedback and advice to sites for correct use, risk and issue from wrong transaction.
• Executing targeted improvement projects and validated enhancements (large and small) together with local key users, contract managers and operational teams for existing customers.
• Conduct Site Reviews (Functional Assessment) to validate the correct use of WMS (Core+) in the operations and to identify and advise operation on (new) features that can be implemented to add further value for operations and customers.
Requirements
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or similar field of study.
• Matrix® WMS Super User has proven practical operational experience in logistics with WMS systems.
• Experience with managing warehouse operations at least at supervisor level.
• Proven ability of comprehensive operational knowledge of WMS systems used within Logistics.
• Understands and able to explain EDI’s and meaning of it.
• Proven ability to communicate within own organization and with external customers.
• Proven ability to communicate in English for written and reading.
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
