Solution Design Manager - Contract Logistics

We are looking for a Solution Design Manager - Contract Logistics to join our team.
Responsibilities
As a key member of Solution Design team, you will play a crucial role in providing technical design support for logistics solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
• Provides technical design support for logistics solutions, including data gathering and analysis, process design, lay-out design, costing of the solution, and sensitivity analysis while applying CEVA’s commercial guidelines.
• Takes a leading role in generating required results in improvement or implementation processes.
• Undertakes and co-ordinates projects, i.e. researches and analyses customer activities, identifies trends / significant findings, reports and provides detailed written and oral presentations to management and customers on findings of individual projects.
• Supports implementation of client solutions including recruitment of staff, managing the contract facility, making recommendations and implementing process improvements.
• Develops and maintains business specific cost and budget models. Develops a strong understanding of financial models, contract budget models and contract budget development.
• Develops, maintains and improves existing and potential customer service standards as well as advanced methodologies for analyzing client data.
• Accompanies handover of successful proposals to CEVA Operations during the project implementation phase, develops an awareness of the issues which are pertinent to operational implementation and develops appropriate solutions.
• Identifies and discusses the feasibility of pursuing new business opportunities with specific potential clients with BD management and acts as agreed.
• Assists Business Development staff with specific tasks as necessary and implements measures to achieve the overall departmental goals more effectively.
Requirements
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Relevant working experience in logistics and supply chain, consulting, and/or manufacturing
• Relevant working experience in Solution Design
• Warehousing, transport, supply chain design, industrial engineering, manufacturing
• Understanding of transportation systems, warehousing systems, financial modelling, and integrated logistics
• Strong working knowledge of MS office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
• Understanding of financial concepts and financial management
• Project management skills
• Able to read, write and speak English fluently
• Able to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team, which reflects in strong engagement / presentation skills
• Ambition to learn and grow knowledge of solutions design
• ‘Can-do’ mentality and positive attitude
