Shipment Coordinator ( Site RAPO Sri racha )
About this position
The Shipment Coordinator at Site RAPO Sri Racha is responsible for managing the inbound and outbound flow of shipments, coordinating with suppliers, customers, and various teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
Responsibilities
• Coordinate with supplier to manage booking / Pick up cargo of shipment inbound & outbound flow
• Handle bookings, trucking arrangements, cargo receiving record, recording & resolving freight and customer complaint and corresponding with overseas offices and customer
• Coordinate with warehouse service provider to arrange slots for ocean export loading
• Checking, following up & keeping monitoring import & export process with operations team and update to customer closely
• Support customer’s requirement and provide appropriate service to meet customer expectations
• Manage, response and support to customer, in terms of shipment requests or any issues
• Coordinate with a customs brokerage, an ocean operation and a transportation team to arrange booking instructions and picking up/delivery of goods and send all necessary confirmation to customers
• Coordinate with customer and operations team in case of problems or clarification needs (i.e. time of container stuffing, time of picked up cargo, time of planed load, goods declaration)
• Administative any customer complaints or feedback, then record it and escalate information to superior for advice and resolution for corrective action/preventive action if necessary
• Build and maintain a strong relationship with warehouse and transport service providers to ensure shipment delivery in/out is processed on time with high service level
• Do the report both of company & customer by completed detail or as per customer requirement
• Operating under the quality management system (ISO) and occupational health and safety management system (OHSAS) and CEVA HSSE Standard and Distribution Quality Management (DQM) correctly.
• Responsible for product and service quality, implement. Distribution quality management (DQM) standard acts as customer contract for quality related matter
• Deliver other duties and tasks as assigned
Requirements
• Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business, Management or related fields
• Working experience in transportation management
• Experience in importing planner
• Experience in transport planner position
• Prefer to have 3PL experience
• Solid understanding and knowledge of Supply Chain Management
• Ability to ensure compliance to procedures and practices
• MS Office Program
• Awareness of the functionality of Warehousing Management Systems (WMS) and Transport Management Systems (TMS)
• English proficiency
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Proven problem solving ability with a solutions orientation
• Team building and motivation skills
• Able to use e-mail and able to communicate with customers per e-mail effectively
• Good analytical skill
• Good negotiation skill
