Customs Supervisor
About this position
The Customs Supervisor is responsible for managing customs clearance processes, providing support to customers, and ensuring compliance with customs regulations.
Responsibilities
• Contact customer to get details of goods & clarify/correct customs tariff and import duty rate.
• Provide consulting to customer for import customs clearance.
• Keep customer informed for shipment status and confirm delivery date / time.
• If any, give notice to customer about damaged goods.
• Supervise Paperless staff in arranging import customs clearance & delivery both routing shipment and local shipment.
• Supervise Paperless staff to process import customs clearance on time without problem.
• Communicate with Customer, Sales & C/S regarding Importation documents, Customs procedure, rate for invoicing and cost from local supplier.
• Prepare import entry by sending data to customs through paperless system correctly and timely.
• Prepare documents to apply for import licenses when required from customer.
• Join meeting with customer when required from sales & customer service or instruction from management.
• Advisement to Sales & Operation and overseas agent.
• Monitoring truck booking.
• Monitoring trucing to pick up cargo and delivery on time with subordinates.
Requirements
• At least Bachelor’s degree in any related discipline (Business Administration, Logistics, Law, etc…).
• Worked in Shipping line, Customs broker, International Multi Module Transportation Company at least 5 years.
• Knowledge of Thai Customs rule & law relevant to the procedure of Importation & Exportation goods into / from Thailand.
• Hold customs specialist would be advantage.
• Good Computer Literate.
• Good command in English.
