About this position
As an Assistant Online Business Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the development, implementation, and successful completion of ecommerce projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality ecommerce solutions that align with business goals and objectives.
Responsibilities
• Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, to ensure timely and successful project execution.
• Requirement Analysis: Work closely with stakeholders to gather and document project requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of objectives, scope, and deliverables.
• Team Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, content creators, and marketers, to facilitate effective communication, resolve issues, and ensure project progress.
• Budget and Resource Management: Monitor project budgets and allocate resources efficiently to achieve project goals within established constraints.
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Proactively address project-related challenges to minimize impact on timelines and deliverables.
• Quality Assurance: Define and implement quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality ecommerce solutions that meet business requirements and user expectations.
• Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including progress reports, milestones achieved, and any potential deviations from the project plan.
• User Experience Optimization: Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure an intuitive and seamless user experience across all ecommerce platforms and devices.
• Testing and Deployment: Coordinate testing activities, including functional testing, user acceptance testing, and performance testing, to ensure a smooth and error-free deployment of ecommerce projects.
• Post-Project Evaluation: Conduct post-project evaluations to assess the success of ecommerce initiatives, identify areas for improvement, and incorporate lessons learned into future projects.
Requirements
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) are a plus.
• Experience: Previous experience as a Project Manager, specifically in ecommerce or digital projects, is required. Experience with agile methodologies and ecommerce platforms (such as Magento, Shopify, or WooCommerce) is highly desirable.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of ecommerce technologies, web development processes, and digital marketing principles. Familiarity with frontend and backend development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP) is beneficial.
• Project Management Skills: Proven track record in managing and delivering complex projects on time and within budget. Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills are essential.
