About this position

The Technical Product Owner is responsible for ensuring the product team delivers the most value, managing backlogs, representing the business, and balancing the needs of stakeholders. They are also involved in release management and are part of the Agile/Scrum delivery team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the product team is delivering the most value
• Take all needful inputs and prioritize the work
• Managing backlogs, keep them up-to-date and priority order
• Responsible for backlog that developer is building, and why they’re building it
• Know everything in backlogs
• Representing business
• Balance needs of other stakeholders in the organization
• Stakeholder management and communication - include users, customers, governance, and organizational leadership
• Release management - delivery can be frequently throughout the sprint allowing the sprint review to review real customer usage and feedback
• get to know when things can and should be released
• Be part of Agile/Scrum delivery team

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field
• Minimum 5 years experience in product management, application management, or application development
• Must have technical skills, and can read API specs and basic database query
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details
• Good interpersonal, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Good command of spoken and written in English
