About this position

The Senior Lab Technician (Quality Management) is responsible for overseeing laboratory operations, ensuring quality control, and managing staff while maintaining compliance with relevant standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and handling test samples
• Plan and respond proficiency test, calibration plan
• Review and approve testing results for validity and accuracy before release to clients.
• Perform tool inspection during use, maintenance, and storage.
• Control and monitor the testing environment.
• Keep the equipment in proper working order and keep the work area clean.
• Lead and prepare the method for verification and quality control
• Supervising and responsible for subordinates
• Prepare information specification for purchase, storage, and supplies usage.
• Manage and resolve staff problems.
• Manage working time supervisor, senior and staff Laboratory
• Perform activities to fulfill report requirements and record retention as established by accrediting agency
• Set and implement ISO/IEC 17025 Technical part as To set the technical team as leaders in laboratory technical procedures
• Lead and set the technical standard, capabilities, and competence of the laboratory to recognized level.
• To take on lab projects evaluation and development and include selection of lab equipment and setting of criteria for purchasing of new equipment.
• Manage new development of test method & equipment.
• Provide statistical data for evaluation of lab efficiency and productivity.
• To provide technical support to the lab operations as Technical Advisor.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or any related field
• 5+ years of progressive management or supervisory experience
• Effective data trending, document control, and technical bench skills
• Strong problem-solving, training, team building, and mentoring abilities
• Ability to write correspondence and reports
• Excellent organizational skills
• The ability to work under pressure.
• Good command in English.
