Product Owner
About this position
Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Development
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and create strategic product roadmaps for new features and online operations
• Optimize app and web functionality and ensure alignment with local online shopping preferences
• Design, develop, and implement e-commerce initiatives through cross-functional collaboration
• Oversee product release schedules
• Maintain and prioritize the product backlog
• Write clear, detailed user stories with acceptance criteria
Project Management
• Contribute to regular backlog grooming sessions with the squad
• Work with Tech squad on sprint planning, deliverables, and timelines
• Work closely with the Tech squad (developers, QA teams) to ensure proper deployments
• Lead UAT execution including reviewing acceptance criteria and accept/reject cases
Stakeholder Management
• Collaborate with BU members to develop solutions that meet business goals
• Communicate project status, issues, and risks to management and stakeholders
• Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams including business, tech, and operations
Innovation & Optimization
• Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements in system capabilities
• Contribute to the development of e-commerce strategy and design
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 2-5 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in e-commerce, retail or omni technology
• Knowledge of marketplace/seller portal platforms
• Technical knowledge or background preferred
• Familiarity with Adobe Commerce Tools (Magento, AEM) a plus
• Experience in website development or IT product management
