Own Brand Director
About this position
The Own Brand Director is responsible for growing the Foods or Non-Foods Own Brand business by enhancing performance across categories to achieve optimal profit margins and implementing strategies aligned with overall goals.
Responsibilities
• Grow the Foods or Non-Foods Own Brand business by enhancing Own Brand performance across categories to achieve the best profit margins.
• Develop and implement category strategies aligned with the overall Own Brand strategy and goals.
• Manage both new and ongoing Own Brand performance to ensure targets are met.
• Lead initiatives for cost optimization, new product development (NPD), and new business models to drive further business growth.
• Drive efficient and effective vendor management, fostering strong relationships.
• Lead a team of Own Brand managers to achieve business performance goals for NPD and existing products through data-driven root-cause analysis, logical decision-making, and high levels of discipline.
• Coach Own Brand managers to consistently meet business objectives and enhance their capabilities as business managers.
• Lead initiatives to improve work methods and processes to increase team efficiency.
Requirements
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing or a related field.
• Over 10 years in marketing, trade marketing, category management, commercial FMCG, and/or Own Brand, with more than 3 years in a leadership role demonstrating high performance.
• Fluent in Thai and English; Mandarin or an EU language is a plus.
• Strong business acumen, analytical skills, negotiation skills, and stakeholder management.
• Proven ability to lead effectively, drive performance, and foster team growth.
• Results-oriented, with a strong growth mindset, critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering strong performance outcomes.
