Media Planning & Buying Manager
About this position
Responsibilities
• Develop and execute media strategy for marketing communication campaign to drive brand awareness and lead generation goal with understanding of offline and online tactic and marketing funnel.
• Identifying target audiences and analyzing their behavior, characteristics, and routines.
• Choosing the best media outlet combination for different campaigns in a timely manner including compare and negotiate rates, ad space and airtime.
• Monitoring media trends and control costs of all channels to return on investment (ROI) considering appropriate timings of media activities, based upon usage patterns and seasonal factors.
• Collaborate with the External (Media agency, Media Partner) and Internal team to identify target groups, channels, and campaigns for key products and personas.
• Lead the optimization of media spend. Monitor results to ensure plans deliver as expected. Give feedback to internal and external teams to improve performance.
• Understand media technology/tools capabilities and help identify potential future needs to drive automation and better outcomes.
• Maintaining contacts with media owners, ensuring statistics, circulation and viewing figures are up to date.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related.
• At least 3 years of direct experiences and above in media planning field both in-store media and OOH media.
• Knowledge in planning & developing strategies including communication development, media or dealing with advertising agencies.
• Good communication, problem analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Creativity and Positive working attitude.
• Ability to both think strategically and execute tactically.
• Effective on working under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of a range of online and offline media platforms.
• Team leader skill which encourage team members to understand and support the company’s policy and direction.
