The Accounting and Finance Manager is responsible for managing accounts, recovering outstanding payments, and maintaining relationships with debtors.
Responsibilities
• Keep track of assigned accounts to identify outstanding debts
• Plan course of action to recover outstanding payments
• Locate and contact debtors to inquire of their payment status
• Negotiate payoff deadlines or payment plans
• Create trust relationships with debtors when possible to avoid future issues
• Update account status and database regularly
• Alert superiors of debtors unwilling or unable to pay when necessary
• Comply with requirements when legal action is unavoidable
• Other responsibilities include checking and monitoring customer payments and doing ad hoc assignments.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance or any related fields.
• At least 4 year experience in debt collection or other related fields.
• Strong analytical and presentational skills
• Strong team management, negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Good English communication
