SMT Process Engineer (Savannakhet - Laos)
About this position
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with customer and cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design and develop SMT tooling fixtures for new products.
• Define product specifications and requirement
• Work closely with customer to ensure product running meet requirement and standard.
• Coordinate with teams to transition product into production.
• Conduct risk assessments and address any potential issues relate to product design or performance.
• Manage process documentations and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry requirement.
• Develop and implement manufacturing strategies to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Create and maintain detailed process documentation, including work instruction and process flow.
• Conduct root cause analysis of manufacturing issues and implement the corrective action.
• Conduct process validation and qualification for new SMT process and equipment.
• Yield improvement and improve the productivity.
Requirements
• Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
• Min. 2 years of working experience of process engineering in electronics industry.
• Understand of SMT process, H/L, DFM and machine, AOI, Solder Printing, PCB, API, etc.
• Familiar with continuous improvement working tools.
• Good command of English.
• Ability to work independently and good team player.
• Ability to work onsite at Savannakhet, Laos.
• Ability to work 6 days per week.
