About this position

Join Our Team as a Quality Engineer in the MCE-Microelectronics Department! Are you passionate about quality and innovation in the field of microelectronics? Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations to pinpoint the root causes of yield issues and deliver effective solutions.
• Develop and maintain test station procedures, preventative maintenance plans, and troubleshooting guides to ensure seamless production.
• Debug tester and product issues using DOE, analytical tools, and failure analysis methodologies.
• Explore process improvement opportunities using a variety of analytical techniques such as SPC, DOE, Gauge R&R, and Lean Six Sigma principles.
• Provide support for WI, Control Plan, PFMEA, and FA documentation.
• Collaborate across teams and travel overseas, with travel accounting for approximately 30% of your workload.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Supplier Quality Control, Optical Components, the Semiconductor Industry, and Cleanroom environments.
• Proficiency in Passive and Active Optical components qualification, including WDM, splitters, fiber connectors, transceivers, amplifiers, lasers, and modulators.
• Strong knowledge of 8D Discipline, LEAN, Six Sigma, and FMEA.
• Hands-on experience in the manufacturing field related to quality functions and ESD.
• Programming experience in LabVIEW and Python for data handling and analysis is a plus.
