About this position

We are seeking a skilled AOI and AXI Process Engineer to design and optimize SMT (Surface Mount Technology) lines, specifically focusing on Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) and Automated X-ray Inspection (AXI) processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SMT processes and a keen eye for detail to ensure the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize SMT lines with a focus on AOI and AXI processes.
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of AOI and AXI equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AOI and AXI processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of AOI and AXI processes.
• Train and support production staff on AOI and AXI procedures and best practices.
• Analyze data and generate reports to monitor process performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AOI and AXI technologies and incorporate them into the processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in SMT process engineering, with a focus on AOI and AXI.
• Strong knowledge of AOI and AXI equipment and technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
• Experience with specific AOI and AXI equipment brands and models.
• Certification in SMT process engineering or related fields.
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for AOI and AXI processes.
