Logistics Team Leader (Outbound)
About this position
The Logistics Team Leader (Outbound) is responsible for achieving operational targets for inbound and outbound logistics, coordinating activities across various support departments, and ensuring smooth operations while driving continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
• To ensure under the direction of the logistic department, the job holder successfully achieve the operational targets for inbound and outbound, co-ordination these activities across all support departments (Productions, SCM, GBS, Quality, Logistics, IT, Finance and Engineering) where their work or input assists in the achievement of the targets.
• Within the frame work of all logistic functions, inbound- & outbound operational , custom and transport processes, Logistic team leader is to ensure the smooth of operations and follow up and managing to drive the activities.
• The Logistic team leader is a proactive, strategic thinker whose skills contribute to the efficient, systematic and profitable operation of the company.
• To closely work with Logistic manager to ensure the KPI, quality, delivery, safety, security and operational accuracy are improved.
• Customs, AEO, FTA experience with Inbound/Outbound operation team lead experience.
• Ensure that effective communication is maintained between all Operations staff level and all Department involved.
• Initiate and conduct continuous improvement scheme for all areas of logistic under the responsibilities.
• Develop and measure to upgrading all operations procedures and job functions.
• Any other jobs assigned by Logistic Manager.
• Professionally represent the company in all forums (meetings, seminars, courses etc).
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Minimum 8 years experiences of relevant working experience in Warehouse, Logistics or Supply Chain.
• A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace.
• Ability to look at situations from several points of view.
• End-to-end supply chains experience, especially logistics IT, transportation, warehousing management and importation and exportation.
• Proven history of successful goal setting, achievement, and employee management.
• Procurement management and Knowledge of human resource management.
• Knowledge of Logistics business and Manufacturing (EMS company) and the ability to lead team.
• Knowledge of Financial, budgeting and P&L for warehouse business.
• Ability to motivate and work in a fast moving, pressure environment.
• Experience and intelligence to deal with complex quantitative and qualitative analyses.
