Lead Process Engineer (Backend / Assembly)
About this position
The Lead Process Engineer (Backend / Assembly) is responsible for leading process control to achieve production targets, developing and optimizing assembly processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance productivity.
Responsibilities
• Leader in Process control to achieve production targets.
• Develop and optimize assembly process for the manufacturing of products.
• Design and implement assembly line layout, fixture and tooling to improve efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team to improve the productivity.
• Conduct the feasibility studies and cost analysis for new assembly processes or equipment.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement the solution to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Define and document assembly procedure, work instruction and quality standards.
• Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot assembly-related issues.
• Communicate with customer regarding the product specification and requirement.
• Provide the training and support to production.
• Implement and maintain lean manufacturing principles in assembly operations.
Requirements
• Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or related fields
• Min. 5 years of design process working experience in electronics industry
• Able to read the drawing and able to design (Solidwork / AutoCAD)
• Understanding of assembly process, process flow, and DFA (Design for Assembly)
• Able to read Fixture tooling in order to communicate with Designer
• Good logical thinking, proactive, and leadership
• Ability to work in Laemchabang, Chonburi
