About this position
At Celestica (Thailand) Ltd., we are seeking a talented Industrial Engineer (Layout) to join our team in Laem Chabang, Chonburi. This full-time role is crucial in optimizing our manufacturing processes and driving operational efficiency. As an Industrial Engineer (Layout), you will be responsible for designing and improving the layout of our production facilities to enhance productivity and utilization.
Responsibilities
• Analyze current production layouts and identify opportunities for improvement
• Design efficient and ergonomic layouts for our manufacturing facilities
• Implement layout changes and monitor their impact on productivity and throughput
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure layout changes align with business objectives
• Utilize data analysis and simulation techniques to optimize material flow and resource utilization
• Develop and maintain layout documentation, including workflow diagrams and process maps
• Continuously review and refine layouts to adapt to changing business needs and requirements
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Industrial Engineer, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making
• Proficient in using layout design software and simulation tools
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
