Celestica HPS Engineering team is seeking a highly motivated and self-driven candidate qualified for the position of Hardware Design Engineer to help design and build market-leading Hardware Platform Solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for engineering assignments related to hardware products as well as systems including the development of new products, updates to existing products, or sustaining current products.
Responsibilities
•Design hardware circuit by using Allegro Cadence Concept HDL tool
•BOM / ECO /DVN Management / Issue management tracking system
•Support Hardware bring up in NPI phase and validation of Networking, Storage, and Server products per Design Test Plan
•Qualify alternative components for compatibility, cost-effectiveness and benchmarking
•Work with cross-function teams to identify root cause of the design issue
•Work with Manufacturing teams to ensures design are producible
•Provide technical support to Manufacturing team as needed
Requirements
•Bachelors Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
•8-10 years of experience with hardware Design
•Familiar with electrical design tools such as Cadence, Logic analyzer, Oscilloscopes
•Knowledge in Analog circuit design and Digital circuit design (low speed and high speed)
•Familiar with common communication protocol such as I2C, SPI, DDR, PCIe, USB, Ethernet, SATA, NVMe
•Hands-on lab debugging, diagnostic errors. Problem solving and corrective actions
•Knowledge of Linux command and Networking
•Self-motivated with a strong multidisciplinary background.
