Learning & Development Manager

The Learning & Development Manager is responsible for designing and implementing innovative learning strategies that align with business goals, fostering continuous growth and development within the organization.
Responsibilities
• Learning Strategy: Design and implement innovative learning strategies aligned with business goals to close skill gaps and foster continuous growth.
• Training Programs: Conduct needs assessments (surveys, interviews, and evaluations) to develop targeted training programs that inspire personal and professional development.
• Budget Management: Prepare, manage, and monitor the training budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation and reporting budget variations.
• Leadership Development: Develop and deliver leadership programs tailored for managers and executives, fostering future leaders within the organization.
• Succession Planning & Talent Management: Build talent pipelines and succession plans for critical roles to ensure business continuity and future readiness.
• Talent Assessment & Coaching: Facilitate talent assessments, coaching sessions, and performance management initiatives to support career pathing and individual development plans (IDP).
• HR Collaboration: Partner closely with HRBP and HROD to align learning initiatives with business strategies and organizational needs.
• DSD Compliance: Monitor and manage compliance with Department of Skill Development (DSD) reporting and ensure alignment with legal requirements.
• Resource Management: Oversee learning resources such as LMS platforms, learning websites, and policies to promote a culture of continuous learning.
• Team Leadership: Inspire, guide, and coach the L&D team, fostering a high-performance culture.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Human Resources Development, Organization Development, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in HR, with a primary focus on learning and development.
• Proven track record in designing and implementing impactful learning programs.
• Expertise in competency frameworks, IDPs, talent management, and succession planning.
• Strong consultative and coaching skills, with excellent facilitation and presentation abilities.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to use HR metrics to inform decisions and measure success.
• Exceptional consulting, coaching, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• High energy, extroverted personality, and a passion for developing people and fostering a learning culture.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to motivate, coach, and manage a small team to achieve objectives.
