About this position

When you are a Logistics Associate at Caterpillar, you will perform a variety of logistic support activities in the areas of logistics planning, materials planning, and packaging analysis, and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Performs the material handling, kitting, or other warehousing functions required in the receiving, processing, storing, moving, picking, kitting, packing, marking, and shipping of parts, materials, equipment, and supplies
• Works from various source documents to verify quantities, count parts, fill orders, package parts, etc.
• Uses machines for weighing, banding, wrapping, packaging, stenciling, etc.
• May perform hooking, signaling, and spotting duties to assist crane operators or assist others
• Performs related and/or specialized clerical duties
• Uses mobile equipment as required to facilitate job functions

Requirements

• Educational Background: High School, Diploma and any higher education
• Minimum 0-3 years experience of Warehouse Operation
• Able to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
• Able to perform repetitive operations.
• Able to take a shift
• Organizational skills
• Knowledge of MS Office
• Familiarity with company policies and procedures and a strong department background.
• Ability to work with a variety of systems, including SAP, Scanner
• Understand basic English language
