About this position

The Lean Project Engineer will lead initiatives to improve manufacturing processes by utilizing Lean methodologies and tools, aiming to eliminate waste and enhance productivity.

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to identify areas for improvement in manufacturing processes to eliminate waste and enhance productivity using Lean tools and methodologies such as value stream mapping, 5S, Kanban, Kaizen events.
• Conduct root cause analysis using statistical data to identify opportunities for improvement and also the underlying causes of inefficiencies, defects, and quality issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize overall manufacturing efficiency.
• Support and participate in company activities e.g. CIP (KPI), Continuous Improvement, 5S, TPM and Idea Management.
• Cooperate and support all management systems in the company (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, etc.)
• Utilizing Six Sigma and statistical methods to analyze production data, reduce variability, and improve process control.
• Preparing and presenting project plans, cost analyses, and ROI calculations to support business decisions and continuous improvement strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experienced in implementing Lean initiatives, leading Kaizen events, and driving continuous improvement.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skill.
• Project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Power App, Power BI and relevant industrial engineering software.
• Certification in Lean Six Sigma, such as Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt would be considered a plus.
• Good communicate in English both written and spoken.
