About this position

Caterpillar's Leadership and Technical Development Program (LTDP) for Operations Leadership is a three-year rotational program designed to accelerate the development of entry-level talent and provide a solid foundation for meeting challenges within operations and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Professionals within the program will complete three rounds of 12-month rotations, which are defined based on business needs. You’ll join a team with diverse project responsibilities and have experiences include (but not limited to):
• Operations area: Responsible and accountable for the activities of a production or logistics line/area while supervising and directing the daily activities of workers, ensuring coordination between different teams, ensuring their safety and monitoring their performance.
• Quality area: To perform a variety of duties related to the development and implementation of methods, procedures and equipment used in Quality. This role is fundamentally a reactive quality role responding to daily quality issues found in the manufacturing facility.
• Engineering area: Responsible and accountable for enhancements and modifications to equipment and processes in our facilities, monitoring equipment and process reliability, identifying and addressing problem areas and providing engineering support on equipment, processes, or facilities.
• Supply Chain area: Analyzes and maintains assigned processes that produce output excellence, builds expertise for the assigned process area, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts. Leads project management of process improvement, process development, and process execution for Supply Chain teams.
• Logistics area: Responsible and accountable for continuous improvements for logistics processes to maximize efficiency and productivity.
