About this position

The Food Safety Quality and Regulatory Manager will provide food safety, quality and regulatory for Raw meat Quality in Design, Raw Meat Supplier and External manufacturer. In this role, you will partner with stakeholders across the company to drive food safety & quality continuous improvement for raw meat development and raw meat supplier as well as external manufacturer you will also participate in external and customer audit.

Responsibilities

• Raw meat supplier quality management including risk assessment, audit and approve, maintain supplier qualification, and continuously develop suppliers’ performance to align with company strategy.
• Review, interpret and implement relevant policies, procedures, regulations, customer, and supplier standards in a standardized way to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Perform prevention activities and issue resolution to ensure supplier and external manufacturer performance.
• Facilitate customer visit and audit at External manufacturer sites.
• Participate in audits from external audit agencies and from customers.
• Perform risk assessment for new product development of raw meat to ensure compliance of regulatory, food safety and regulatory during New Product Development process.
• Review and approve raw meat specification for internal, suppliers and customers.
• Support the development of new processes and systems across Cargill Protein Asia Europe (CPAE).
• Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in the areas of food safety, quality assurance and regulatory affairs.
• Other minimum qualifications may apply.
• Experience with food products, food safety and quality practices and systems.
• Experience with supplier quality management.
• Experience driving continuous improvement.
• Two years of supervisory experience.
• Experience working on audits and customer specifications.
• Knows the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Holds self and others accountable to meet commitments.
• Makes sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.
• Leadership experience in technical services such as quality, food safety and auditing.
• Experience in multiple food industry fields.
