VAS Engineer
About this position
Responsibilities
• Responsible for 2nd level VAS (SMSC/GW/FW, MMSC, USSD, MCA, IVR, RBT) of customer mobile network.
• Meeting or exceeding the network availability targets & responsibilities.
• To ensure RCA for any fault within VAS services.
• To work within well-defined system support guidelines.
• To prioritize faults to meet SLA/WLA.
• To do end to end investigation of faults/cause related to VAS services in mobile network.
• To ensure accurate working methodology.
• To coordinate with all technical teams to handle emergencies and if required coordinate with stakeholders and Tier2 support/3PP vendors.
• Clearing of assigned Trouble Tickets post troubleshooting.
• To participate in internal/external technical discussions in view to improve overall network performance and make recommendations wherever possible.
Requirements
• Bachelors degree or above in Electronic, Computer or Telecom Engineering
• Min 3-5 years or above related working experience in VAS services implementation and rollout, preferably in a multinational environment
• Basic IT knowledge in computer network, telco network security, MS Office, and network access
• Experience with International Roaming in the network.
• Must be willing to work on-site.
• Good communication in English

• Mobilium VAS nodes
• Mavenir VAS nodes
• Mobile Network VAS services knowledge
• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years
• Education: Degree within Electronics, Computer or Telecommunication Engineering
