About this position

We are looking to fill in a position of Employee Engagement Specialist who is responsible for employee communication and service cultural activities of the Card X-Customer Contact Center team. Our purpose is to serve as a resource, an executor and consultant to partners, on the development and implementation of service culturally responsive, activities motivated, and equitable practices that are aligned with the organization’s objectives.

Responsibilities

• Works with team lead to develop, and then execute on an annual internal communications strategy and motivation activity plan for CardX Customer Contact Center.
• Seek for & develop community channels & written and visual internal communications materials by co-work with Specialist-Learning Design & Technology.
• Research, plan, and execute creative and engaging virtual and/or hybrid events and other opportunities for employees to engage with each other, build rapport, and have fun.
• Implement, monitor, and recommend adjustments on employee engagement activities as they relate to matters of CardX Customer Contact Center service cultures, to recognize staff birthdays, anniversaries and other professional and life milestones.
• To be a key player in contributing to a culture of inspiration, creative thinking, and fun in a virtual workforce and can act independently within program goals.
• May work with vendors/other parties to execute projects/deliverables related to motivation & engagement activities.
• Work with the Professional SME team in facilitating workshops focused on teaching our employees how to communicate effectively with colleagues our external stakeholders, ensuring professional growth in understanding the role of social and cultural factors in how we support our communities.
• Develop and lead a dynamic and engaging New Hire Orientation Process.
• In collaboration with the Talent Acquisition Team, improve effectiveness and success in recruiting and retaining diverse staff.
• Interface with Recruiting and other HR functions to maintain focus on building and sustaining a strong organizational culture.
• Partner with the communications department to complement internal communications that focus on culture and culture building.
• Develop, implement and grow internal feedback and measurement systems to constantly assess organizational culture and growth areas.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• At least 2-3 years’ experiences in Service & Operation Training and/or Organization Development as a trainer and training facilitator.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and consulting skills.
• Experience with, interest in, and understanding of visual communications; experience creating presentations or other visual-forward materials.
• Experience implementing and measuring communication and engagement plans/strategies.
• Knowledge and application of current and evolving trends in internal communications and/or employee engagement.
