Planning Analyst

About this position

The Planning Analyst is responsible for creating and managing the master production plan, coordinating with customers to meet their demands, and ensuring timely delivery of products.

Responsibilities

• Draw up master production plan and establish sequence and lead time of each focus factory to meet shipping date according to sales forecast or customer orders.
• Work with, respond to and co-ordinate with customers to find out their demand, create solutions, and ensure a smooth planning and delivery process.
• Receive customer’s order and key into Company’s ERP system.
• Consolidate customer’s demand to generate the production plan, sequence manufacturing and assembly and monitor production result to meet customer’s delivery plan.
• Create the sterilization and shipment plan to align with customer’s required date.
• Assist the production department to actively manage the production schedule.
• Monitor, analyze, and report performance to schedule the production activities utilizing information derived.
• Expedite operations that delay / alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
• Ensure Finished Goods are delivered to customers as planned.
• Monitor quality, service, delivery issues and take appropriate corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.
• Review historical data including sales trends, research demand drivers.
• Coordinate research data to identify significant variances.
• Share, communicate and report on variances to both internal and external supply chain teams.
• Provide continuous improvement to planning and reporting processes.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethic codes.
• Ensure the requirement of GMP & Safety law.
• Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the success of project, individuals, and the company.

Requirements

• Degree holders – Bachelor’s degree in related fields
• Minimum three years’ experience in Planning function, and proven performance in a manufacturing environment
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, etc. Advance Excel skills required for the role
• Knowledge in visual Manufacturing or other MRP/ERP systems
• Experience working within an ISO quality plan is advantageous
• Team attitude; eager to cooperate with others with exceptional interpersonal communication skills
• Agility, adapting to changing environment and multi-tasking skills required for the role
• Good command of spoken and written English and native Thai language
