About this position
The Safety / SHE Manager at Chachoengsao Factory is responsible for designing and executing safety policies, ensuring compliance with regulations, and promoting a culture of safety within the organization.
Responsibilities
• Design and execute safety policies and procedures at the corporate level, ensuring compliance with local, state, and safety regulations.
• Track plant performance against critical SHE KPIs, generate key insights into persistent gaps, and collaborate with relevant plant teams to identify and implement mitigating actions for continuous improvements.
• Leads location efforts to ensure deep understanding and achieve support of the approved SHE strategy or relevant parts from internal and external partners and stakeholders.
• Analyze safety data to identify trends and recommend process improvements to enhance safety performance.
• Plan, budget, and manage safety projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
• Design and execute site-specific SHE initiatives aligned with the Plant SHE improvement roadmap.
• Work closely with department heads to implement safety initiatives and promote a culture of safety throughout the organization.
• Manage, monitor and enhance Occupation Safety, Health & Environmental impact reduction programs / initiatives at the plant, ensuring alignment with SHE programs to maintain consistency in implementation.
• Collaborate with relevant parties to establish effective audit procedures and review processes, ensuring continuous compliance with SHE regulations and standards and security policies.
• Prepare incident investigation and mitigation reports to define risks and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare comprehensive safety training for staff to ensure awareness and compliance.
• Prepare regular inspections of the facility and emergency equipment to ensure availability of safety equipment and implementation compliance with regulations and standards.
• Coordinate efforts across plant teams to prepare for certification assessments as required.
• Compliance and SHE Technical Leads to determine appropriate actions and responses.
• Benchmarks internally and externally to identify best practices of others that can be applied effectively across a location with Safety, Health and Environment complexity consistent with and in support of the SHE strategy.
• Establish guidelines for selecting safety vendors, ensuring their compliance with safety standards and fostering long-term partnerships.
• Liaise with external agencies, including representatives and health and safety organizations, to stay updated on best practices and industry trends.
• Foster a safety-conscious culture by promoting awareness and adherence to health, safety, and environmental principles across all levels of the organization.
Requirements
• Maintain ISO 14001 & 45001 related SHE certification and must be aware and play a vital role of quality, environmental, safety and social management system.
• Implement Plant SHE policies and ensure on-time and on-target delivery of initiatives according to SHE roadmap.
• Ensure operations control and compliance with registration, customer requirements, insurance, certified bodies.
