Likewise, since entering the project development business in 2010, Canadian Solar has developed, built, and connected over 10 GWp of solar power projects and 3.3 GWh of battery energy storage projects worldwide. Currently, the Company’s total solar project development pipeline was 26.3 GWp, 6.5 GWp of projects under construction or in backlog (late-stage), and an additional 19.8 GWp of projects in advanced and early-stage pipeline. In addition, the Company has 600 MWh of battery energy storage projects in operation and a total battery energy storage project development pipeline of around 56 GWh, including approximately 4.3 GWh under construction or in backlog, and an additional 51.6 GWh at advanced and early-stage development.

About this position

The EHS Engineer, Safety & Health at Rojana Bowin (Chonburi Plant) is responsible for promoting and implementing various management tasks and plans related to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS).

Responsibilities

• Promote and implement various management tasks and plans of EHS.
• Environmental protection three simultaneous declarations (project approval, environmental impact assessment, trial production, acceptance), responsible for the work related to the company's environmental protection.
• EIA declaration and acceptance of new reconstruction and expansion projects, inspection and reception by external local governments, handling of environmental complaints from related parties, monitoring of the company's wastewater, gas, noise, and solid waste operations, effective implementation of the annual environmental monitoring plan, and other environmental protection-related issues.
• Declaration and license handling (such as: sewage discharge permit, entrusted sewage disposal, hazardous waste transfer declaration, pollution discharge declaration registration, solid waste annual declaration, annual environmental statistics declaration, clean production audit, etc.).
• Environmental protection system supervision and management.
• Wastes treatment and application approval management.
• Environmental monitoring, chemical monitoring, wastewater and waste gas monitoring.
• Pollutant discharge declaration.
• Supplier and customer audit environment cooperation.
• Communication with external environmental protection government departments.
• Occupational health supervision and guidance.
• Other tasks assigned by superior leaders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety major.
• 10 years' experience in EHS in manufacturing environment.
• Experience in EHS management, enterprise environment, occupational health and safety management system.
• Familiar with the environmental impact assessment, occupational health and safety declaration process of enterprise investment projects.
• Good knowledge of local laws, regulations and standards on environment, safety and occupational health.
• Familiar with the use conditions and wearing standards of labor protection articles, and the relevant standards of various harmful factors in the workplace.
• Familiar with special equipment, hazardous chemicals, electrical appliances management requirements and procedures.
• Familiar with the management requirements and related processes of wastewater, waste gas and solid waste treatment.
• Strong communication, coordination, and team leader skill.
• Good command of English.
