About this position

The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and managing application infrastructure, ensuring its availability and performance while collaborating with the MIS team.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and do configuration management of application infrastructure both on-premise and on-cloud
• Responsible for CI/CD pipeline development
• Ensure the availability, performance, scalability, and security of application infrastructure
• Work together with MIS to manage Virtual Machines and network configuration
• Analyze, select, and optimize Cloud Services and perform the cost calculations

Requirements

• Bachelor or master degree in Engineering or equivalent
• At least 1-2 years experience in DevOps
• Strong Linux skills
• Strong knowledge in Shell and Bash scripting
• Familiar with at least one programming language (C, Python, Java)
• Experienced in virtualization technology (VMware), container orchestration (Docker Engine, Docker Swarm, or Kubernetes) and Cloud technologies/platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
• Experienced in CI/CD tool (Jenkins or GitLab CI) is an advantage
• Knows web server technologies (NGINX or Apache) is a plus
• Any professional DevOps certification is a plus
• Self-driven continuous learning
• Strong verbal and written English
