Cost/Scheduling Engineer (สัญญาจ้าง 1 ปี Construction Chemical Plant at Rayong)
About this position
The Cost/Scheduling Engineer will be responsible for project planning, cost control, risk management, performance monitoring, change management, coordination, communication, and documentation for a construction chemical plant project in Rayong.
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including key milestones, resource allocation, and dependencies.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project timelines and objectives.
• Utilize project management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) to create and monitor schedules.
• Assist in developing project budgets, tracking expenses, and controlling costs throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor and forecast project costs, ensuring alignment with approved budgets.
• Analyze variances between actual costs and budgeted costs, recommending corrective actions when necessary.
• Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines or budgets.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies and assist with contingency planning.
• Monitor risk throughout the project and update risk management plans accordingly.
• Track and report project progress against established baselines (schedule, cost, and scope).
• Prepare project status reports, dashboards, and forecasts for senior management and stakeholders.
• Provide insights on project performance and recommend actions to improve efficiency and reduce delays.
• Review and assess changes in project scope, schedule, and cost.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure change requests are documented, analyzed, and approved before implementation.
• Act as a liaison between project teams, contractors, and clients to ensure timely communication of key project information.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
• Facilitate meetings and discussions to address project concerns, risks, and progress updates.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including schedules, budgets, change orders, and reports.
• Ensure that all project control activities.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Experience 10 years up in project control, scheduling, cost management related construction industry.
• Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and cost control tools.
• Command in English speaking, writing, reading and report to Indian management.
