About this position

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, compliance, training, and HR strategy to support the organization's goals.

Responsibilities

Recruitment and Staffing:
• Manage the recruitment and selection process, including posting job openings, conducting interviews, and coordinating hiring efforts.
• Collaborate with department managers to forecast staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
• Ensure all hiring procedures comply with legal requirements.

Employee Relations:
• Serve as a point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and conflict resolution as needed.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to promote a positive work environment.
• Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to improve employee retention.

Performance Management:
• Oversee performance management programs, including goal setting, performance reviews, and professional development.
• Provide coaching and support to managers in addressing performance issues and employee development.

Compensation and Benefits:
• Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with industry standards.
• Manage employee benefits enrollment, inquiries, and claims resolution.
• Conduct regular compensation reviews and recommend adjustments as necessary.

Compliance and Legal:
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Develop and implement workplace safety programs and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.

Training and Development:
• Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs for employees.
• Develop and deliver HR-related training sessions for staff and management.

HR Strategy:
• Partner with leadership to develop HR strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
• Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to drive decision-making and improve organizational effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources management.
• Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
