About this position

The Business Intelligence Specialist is responsible for developing business intelligence and analytics solutions, maintaining reports, and collaborating with internal teams to gather requirements for report development.

Responsibilities

• Develop business intelligence and analytics solutions using enterprise data analytics tools.
• Maintain and monitor scheduled reports for internal hospital operations.
• Respond to IT data service requests, communicate with internal teams and stakeholders, and gather business requirements or necessary documents for report development and delivery.
• Create and maintain master data mapping, data dictionary, and data transformation rules and documentation.
• Identify, acquire, and review data gaps and analytical processes. This may include developing new approaches to data acquisition and data manipulation using a variety of enterprise programming tools.
• Maintain and track multiple projects and handling competing priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer or Data Engineer, Statistics, Mathematics, or similar fields.
• 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, business analysis, data analytics, or roles.
• 3+ years of programming in SQL, work within relational databases, data pipeline, and/or data architecture.
• Ability to demonstrate exceptional analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and solution-minded approach.
• Mature communication skills (examples include, communicate clear findings, identify problems or root causes, oral data presentation, and professional demeanor) and working professional English language skills.
• Proven ability to work and function effectively within a cross-matrix organizational structure.
