About this position

Deliver public training courses and in-house training solutions to the BSI standards of excellence, in order to develop knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that value is added to customers and their business/organization through the delivery of BSI training courses
• Inform customers of BSI services to their needs during training sessions
• Provide delegates with information on how the training is aligned to the overall customer journey with BSI
• Continually enhance the reputation and perception of BSI through excellent delivery of training courses/solutions and day-to-day interactions with customers and other key stakeholders
• Provide feedback to support course development in line with the new course and existing product development process
• Provide assistance with the design of training solutions. (E.g. classroom, electronic, correspondence, mentoring, coaching)
• Maintain and enhance appropriate professional qualification status in relevant disciplines
• Proactively engage with peers and key stakeholders to ensure continual improvement, in line with the BSI standards of excellence for training delivery
• To be a BSI Brand Ambassador.

• Can articulate to clients the value of using the portfolio of products and services to meet their needs using customer examples of proven value
• Engages clients on their wider needs, offering suggestions for other BSI products and solutions
• Can qualify sales leads appropriately and pass on to relevant sales teams
• Understands the revenue impact from activities in which they are engaged/responsible

• Able to interpret and use information about the Customer needs and expectations to solve problems and add value
• Is recognized by the Customer as an industry/sector or market expert; provides thought leadership and drives future development in the customer’s industry

• Organizes work and executes to BSI’s standard of excellence and takes responsibility for resolving unexpected issues
• Can proactively deal with issues through to resolution
• Able to communicate effectively with senior audiences, peers, stakeholders and customers to engage, motivate and inspire
• Capably applies appropriate tools and skills to deliver to BSI’s standard of excellence and to make major improvements based on customer and stakeholder feedback
• Inputs training course delivery data into the appropriate BSI systems correctly and within the required timeframes
• Delivers to all compliance requirements and BSI’s standards of excellence.
• Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
• Ability to coherently deliver training courses across the full spectrum of the delegate profile (boardroom to shop floor)
• Knowledge of individual learning styles and how to address these through the design and development of training courses through the use of accelerated learning techniques.
• Ability to design and develop training courses.
