About this position

The Senior Near-series Engineer position at Robert Bosch Automotive Technologies involves leading product development and cross-functional teams, focusing on component and product connectors, while collaborating with engineering teams in Vietnam.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for component and product development.
• Leading series development for product connectors.
• Leading problem solving and technical risk assessment.
• Leading cross-functional teams (development, purchasing, quality, manufacturing).
• Collaboration with engineering team in Vietnam (design, function, validation, testing).

Requirements

• Bachelor or master degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar.
• Very good command in English (read, write, and speaking).
• Professional experience ≥ 5 years, preferably in field of product engineering.
• Technical knowledge on plastic injection and material.
• Technical knowledge on manufacturing technologies.
• Knowledge of FMEA, DRBFM, SAP.
• Understanding manufacturing processes and test methods.
• Data Postprocessing and statistical analysis.
• Good communication and cooperation skills.
• Self-structured and self-reliant mode of working.
• Cross functional working mindset.
• High sense of responsibility and motivation.
• Mechanical design and CAD (NX).
