About this position

The Material Planner position at Bosch involves overseeing material planning for both in-house production and pass-through business, focusing on supplier management, logistics cost optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Responsible of supplier interface, analyze supplier order & behavior to reduce the order fluctuation
• Implement standardization in SOURCE area for entire RBTA/RBTY
• Proactively initiate CIP (Continue Improvement Project) activities to meeting internal targets
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve logistics cost target (focus: transportation costs inbound)
• Optimize DIO (Day of Inventory On hand) and daily stock in SAP & physical (RM, supermarket, GIT, blocked stocks, no mover)
• Develop and implement to achieve BPS (Bosch Production System) maturity level 2 in material planning including daily management participation
• Utilize SAP based planning for material planning
• Ensure supplier delivery performance, logistics quality - racking, controlling, sharing, improving, escalation management
• Others as assign by superior (e.g. safe launch and new customer projects, relocations)

Requirements

• Educational Background: Diploma / Bachelors degree or equivalent
• Special Skills: Good in planning skill
• Language Proficiency Level: English : Fluent & Good Communication
• Others: SAP, Material Flow, Microsoft office, Power BI, Power Automate (RPA)
• Global Supply Chain Management and Controlling (incl international experience / culture)
• Production planning, leveling and collaboration (Production system)
• SAP and system-based working / simplification
• Forwarding/LSP basics (lead times, carriages, customs, export)
