Product Manager - New Product Development
About this position
The role is to lead locally developed Retail Own brand products for Boots Retail Thailand and regional market. This position shall conduct market/ brand/ product analysis, develop customer insight, and manage local product development in collaboration with the local sourcing team also develop brand asset to support regional markets. Co-ordinate with market and commercial team to strengthen the reputation of Boots house brands.
Responsibilities
• Analyze how the brands are positioned in the market and crystallize targeted consumer insights
• Analyze market trends, consumer preferences and competitors’ activities to identify opportunities and key issues in order to create and develop new product
• Lead launch / relaunch product including develop packaging artwork, set up price and develop key asset each brand to support markets also reviews to assess results compared with expectation
• Work closely with commercial team and marketing team to ensure that visual displays of NPD are aligned with any Boots brand direction and maintain the brand visual standards
• Plan and execute stock reduction plans for discontinued products
• Conduct reviews & develop actions to ensure performance of NPD vs. target set
• Work with sourcing team on new product development
Requirements
• University graduate at least in Business Administration or related field.
• Proficient in MS-Office especially advanced EXCEL skill.
• Proficient in English both verbal and written.
• More than 3-5 year’s work experience in new product development (preferable related to health care/ skin care).
• Experience working in/for international businesses would be ideal
• Experience in project management, leading cross divisional teams
• Experience in product development for FMCG products
