About this position

The Senior Industrial Engineer is responsible for developing and improving methods to enhance productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost reduction within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Developing and improving methods to increase productivity, efficiency, quality and cost reduction.
• Evaluate and analyze current process metrics and performance to identify areas requiring improvements.
• Analyze and identify opportunities to reduce process variation, improve process capabilities and optimize process performance.
• Develop process improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency and productivity.
• Interpreting and transforming data into meaningful information that can be acted upon.
• Apply IE Technique and deploy as a project to improve productivity.
• Maximizing labor utilization for Operations.
• Reviews the motion and time study to ensure the corrective standard time and Site capacity.
• Analyzes work methods in Repair process to minimize cost and improve productivity.
• Reviews the equipment capacity for full utilization.
• Designs an efficient layout and material flow for the manufacturing process.
• Reviews to optimize the overall headcount to match to the demand forecasts and requirements.
• Present information, improvements in visual ways / Content.
• Performs related work as assigned.
• Establish WI / Process Flow / Record sheet or necessary any documents.
• Reviews the overall PM Plan, Breakdown and Machine Spare part stock control.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial engineering (IE).
• Kaizen, Lean / Six Sigma / TQM / WCM certifications is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in process improvement / continuous improvement and new process development. (in Food or Beverage business is added advantage)
• Must have experience leading improvement activities, Kaizen activities.
• Good command of written & spoken English.
• General knowledge of quality systems and techniques.
• IT savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Linux or database programs, AutoCAD or Visio and specialized software.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• A good team player with a positive job attitude and interpersonal skill.
