Product Development Executive (Coffee)
About this position
The Product Development Executive (Coffee) is responsible for conducting market research, developing product strategies, and managing the product development lifecycle in the coffee category.
Responsibilities
•Conduct market research to identify consumer trends, preferences, and opportunities in coffee product category.
•Develop and execute comprehensive product development strategies, marketing initiatives, including ideation, concept development. Able to do calculating, pricing, costing.
•Collaborate with internal teams, such as R&D, sales, trade, operations, and procurement, to ensure seamless cross-functional alignment throughout the product development lifecycle.
•Manage the end-to-end product development process, including project planning, budgeting, timeline management, and resource allocation.
•Analyze competitors, price and other market relevant factors and be able to propose solutions when needed.
•Track and evaluate the performance of new product launches, gathering customer feedback and conducting post-launch analysis to identify areas for improvement.
•Collaborate with external suppliers to source and evaluate potential materials, components, working alongside with purchasing team.
•Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies in coffee product development. Proactively apply this knowledge to product development initiatives.
•Implementation product launch plans, marketing campaigns, POSM, promotional activities, and sales training materials.
Requirements
•Bachelor's degree in a marketing or relevant field, such as food science, product development, or a related discipline.
•Previous experience in marketing field or product development for 2-3 years is preferable. Knowledge in food and beverage industry will be advantage.
•Be able to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
•Good in analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a data-driven approach.
•Effective communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
•Good in people skill, presentation skills, English communication is preferable. Computer knowledge in calculation is a must.
