Technical Sales Representative, Swine
About this position
The Technical Sales Representative, Swine is responsible for optimizing customer calls and executing key account business plans while monitoring market conditions and managing programs and budgets.
Responsibilities
• Optimize calls to customers and execution of key account business plan.
• Monitors local market conditions for changes that impact business.
• Manages programs and budgets to stay within standards.
• Identify opportunities that meet both territory and brand tactics.
• Customizes approach for each call on each customer to assess customer needs and increase key account of BI products.
• Has excellent understanding of customer priorities/needs and keeps abreast of changes in the local health economy.
Requirements
• Bachelors degree in Veterinary Medicine or related field, and/or Doctoral degree (eh. PhD, MD) and/or veterinary.
• Total at least 3 years experience in a sales capacity of which a minimum of 2 years were in the Animal Health or related industry.
• Proven disciplined sales training.
• Must be self-motivated, responsible and flexible.
• Customer understanding.
• Commercial awareness.
