Process Engineering Manager_Urgently Required!!!
About this position
The Process Engineering Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing processes in PCBAs production, ensuring quality standards, managing equipment, and providing technical expertise while supporting the RFQ department and training team members.
Responsibilities
• Lead the Frontend, Backend Process, and NPI for PCBAs products.
• Monitor all process flow to ensure that the process is in control.
• Design process flow and process capacity calculation.
• Continuously analyze and optimize processes to enhance efficiency, reduce defects, and improve product quality.
• Implement the use of SPC for the control process.
• Analyze the yield of processes to ensure process capabilities.
• Optimize setup and program to improve Process Effectiveness.
• Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure PCBAs meet quality standards and customer requirements.
• Conduct inspections and audits to identify and address quality issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• To manage and ensure the program setup, operation, and maintenance of machines are accurate and efficient.
• Design and development of new tooling for new and/or existing processes.
• Maintain accurate records of all process activities, including equipment performance, defects, and improvements.
• To manage and provide regular reports on production metrics, performance, and improvements and relevant teams.
• Evaluate PCBA designs for Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) consideration.
• Ensure penalization designs meet manufacturing and assembly requirements.
• Create and maintain stencil designs for SMT and THT processes.
• Coordinate with suppliers for stencil orders and track delivery status.
• Offer technical guidance and support in PCB Laser Mark, SMT, THT, Conformal coating, Resin potting, and mechanical assembly processes, including machine program review.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in PCBA manufacturing and assembly, including leading troubleshooting efforts.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in PCBA manufacturing.
• Perform process simulation for SMT, THT Selective, Conformal Coating, Potting processes, etc.
• Collaborate with the RFQ team to provide technical input and cost estimation for quotes.
• Design training methods, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects and safety protocols.
Requirements
• Bachelor's in engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of work experience in an electronics manufacturing company.
• 5+ years of management experience.
• Driven, self-motivated, hands-on, and excellent team player.
• Able to identify weak spots in processes and improve efficiency.
• Strong management and organizational skills.
• Drive team to achieve company targets and KPIs.
• Able to work in an international team.
• Fluency in communicating in Thai is essential.
• Excellent English communication skills.
