Resource Planning (Junior - Manager)

The Resource Planning team will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing resource allocation, ensuring that the organization’s professional services are delivered effectively and efficiently.
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain resource allocation plans across multiple projects and departments.
• Monitor resource utilization and reallocate resources as needed to meet project demands.
• Collaborate with project managers to identify resource needs and ensure optimal allocation.
• Conduct capacity planning to ensure the organization can meet current and future project demands.
• Maintain an accurate forecast of resource needs based on project pipelines and business goals.
• Balance the workload among team members to avoid under or over-utilization.
• Work closely with department heads and senior management to align resource allocation with organizational priorities.
• Provide regular updates on resource availability, capacity, and potential risks.
• Actively participate in strategic planning and resource alignment meetings to ensure the timely availability of skilled professionals, aligning resource needs with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track resource utilization, availability, and performance.
• Analyze resource performance metrics and suggest improvements for optimizing efficiency.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
• Identify inefficiencies in resource planning and allocation processes and propose solutions to streamline workflows.
• Implement best practices and continuous improvement strategies in resource management.
• Collaborate with finance teams to ensure resource planning aligns with budget constraints.
• Monitor resource-related costs and contribute to cost-saving initiatives.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in resource planning, preferably in a professional services environment.
• Strong knowledge of resource management tools and software or Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
