Cloud Engineer

The Cloud Engineer will be a key member of the team, collaborating with Data Engineers, consultants, and customers to implement and maintain cloud infrastructure that meets business objectives and customer needs.
Responsibilities
• Work collaboratively with Data Engineers, consultants and customers to provide tailored technical solutions.
• Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions, ensuring they are aligned with business objectives and customer requirements.
• Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure components, including data pipelines, APIs, and scripting solutions, while maintaining and optimizing them for peak performance.
• Utilize tools like Azure Resource Management (ARM) templates, Terraform, or similar technologies to automate infrastructure provisioning, streamlining deployment processes.
• Ensure cloud infrastructure meets security and compliance standards, implementing robust data protection and access control measures.
• Implement monitoring and alerting solutions to proactively identify and resolve performance, capacity issues. Continuously optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency.
• Handle system administration tasks within the cloud environment, including virtual machines, database, server maintenance, and container management.
• Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation of cloud infrastructure, networking configurations, and related processes to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer engineering, science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Hands-on experience on cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Good in programming languages such as SQL, Python, JSON or others (e.g., PySpark, Java).
• Good in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Shell.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IAC) tools like Terraform, version control systems like Gitlab.
• Knowledge of various operating systems (e.g., Linux, Ubuntu, Suse or Microsoft Windows).
• Understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, LAN, WLAN, Load balance and security.
• Related certificates in cloud technology is a plus.
