Business Analyst (Entry - Manager level)
About this position
The role of a Business Analyst in an IT consulting company encompasses understanding the client's business processes, workflows, and areas for improvement or change within their organization. Additionally, Business Analysts facilitate effective communication, identify and prioritize business needs, and ensure that IT solutions align with the clients' strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
• Understand project objectives and organizational goals. Gather business requirements and analyze pain points from clients and stakeholders.
• Clarify business requirements and analyze solutions, weighing pros and cons based on the identified requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments and prioritize tasks or features for development.
• Manage and plan your own tasks as well as the tasks of entry business analysts within the team.
• Collaborate with the client's working team, Product Owner, and internal team members, including the Project Manager, UX/UI Designer, System Analyst, Developer, and Quality Assurance.
• Implement documentation such as business flows, business requirement documents and functional specifications.
• Support and investigate issues raised by clients and the internal team
Requirements
• Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 2-3 years+ experience in a Business Analyst Role.
• Logical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), IT systems, and databases would be an advantage.
• Experience in the banking or insurance industry would be an advantage.
• Experience in project assessment would be an advantage.
• Strong project and risk management skills.
• Strong leadership qualities and ability to work well within a team.
• Positive work attitude and strong teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in documentation in both Thai and English.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
