Control and Instrument Engineer
About this position
The Control and Instrument Engineer is responsible for executing maintenance activities in Instrument & Control systems, supporting DCS upgrades, and ensuring optimal equipment performance through various maintenance strategies.
Responsibilities
• Execute all maintenance activities in Instrument & Control system and analyzers
• Support Instrumentation Control in DCS upgrade to solve the soft error issue, preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance for all Instrumentation Control and Technology (ICT) including optimized condition monitoring
• Establishing short, medium and long term plan for equipment maintenance and perform maintenance as planned for both routine and outage
• Conduct equipment calibration to ensure the alignment of result from instrumentation, analyzers and laboratory without significant discrepancies
• Establish the data analytics to optimize the equipment integrity and performance
• Monitor equipment degradation, obsolescence, replacement and etc. to meet the business objectives
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Control and Instrument Engineer or related field
• 5-10 years for control and instrument maintenance in power plant or heavy industry is preferable.
• Knowledge and experience in DCS, PLC, Control valve, control drive, field instrument and power plant control system
• Capable for using DCS Software, PLC Software, MS project, Excel, MS Word, PI system and Maintenance software program, i.e. Maximo
